(My dad shared this poem with me and it’s quickly become one of my favorite pieces. It speaks to the connection I feel with the earth and its divine creative spirit, and how I see this consciousness even more powerfully in my students. Children are sacred beings because they are new enough to this earth that they still look at each day as a miracle. I am energized by their constant wonder....
